About

Open thesis archive

RDL Tez is a free open thesis platform that consolidates MSc and PhD theses into a single, open-access, full-text searchable archive.

Our mission

To make every academic thesis openly and searchably accessible, while fully respecting authors' and advisors' rights.

Our vision

A thesis ecosystem governed by standards, open access and a modern search experience rather than bureaucracy.

Our story

The Tez module started with hundreds of MSc students complaining: “I uploaded my thesis, yet it doesn't appear on Google.”

Today we partner with universities to migrate thesis metadata and full-text PDFs to an open, modern search stack.

We host theses from 150+ institutions and deliver the most comprehensive open thesis search.

Our values

Knowledge should circulate freely.

Open access

All metadata and full-text PDFs are freely accessible.

Copyright respect

Copyright stays with the author; embargo and confidentiality requests are honoured.

Quality

University-validated source; metadata aligned with institutional standards.

Multilingual

Multilingual UI, search and filtering; Turkish and English content supported.

Tez's four pillars
